Don't see what you're looking for? Consider becoming a Fab@CIC Contributor.

Contributors are expert designers and makers who exchange their time for a Design Town coworking membership. Contributors spend 15 hours per month assisting Design Town and Fab@CIC by hosting office hours or equipment trainings.

Office hours duties include addressing technical issues with the equipment, answering questions and providing basic information about Fab@CIC to walk-ins, assisting with one-off projects for CIC clients and non-clients, and other tasks as requested by the CIC team.

Trainings for Fab@CIC equipment are held on a recurring basis and are important to train members on how to use the equipment safely and considerately. Contributors cannot be compensated for trainings that are a part of their office hours; however, they can give trainings outside of their office hours that attendees pay for.

If they wish, contributors may choose to charge for any design expertise they give to members. Design expertise is considered distinct from technical guidance on the equipment, and is not part of a contributor's Fab@CIC duties.
